SADA FORT TREK
A trek at the Sada fort that straddles the border of Maharashtra and Karnataka. The bus will take us from Panjim (7.00am) and Mapusa (7.30am) up to the Talewada village. After some light refreshment there is a bit of a climb and then we explore the ruins of the fort (2300ft ASL). The view from the top is fabulous! The fort has collapsed and is in total ruins save for a few walls, a couple of cannons and a deep well at that 2300f...t ASL height. Veg. lunch will be served in traditional style. We will then explore the village before descending for our trip back. Level: Medium. Requirements: Good trekking shoes, raincoat, drinking water. Optional: Camera.
