INSTRUCTIONS FOR HIKING PARTICIPANTS

 

ABOUT DEPARTURE TIMINGS:
We are very strict with timings and the bus will leave on the stipulated time of 08.00 AM from Panjim approximately 08:30 am from Cortalim and 09:00 am from Margao. Our Advice is, IF YOU CANNOT COME ON TIME, THEN COME EARLY.

  1. Please carry 2 bottles of DRINKING WATER.

  2. Carry your PERSONAL SNACKS AND LUNCH preferably vegetarian.
  3. Reaching at 08.00 AM at starting point in Panjim is reaching not on time but reaching late. As we leave it 08.00 AM.  So we cannot be held responsible for you missing the hiking bus. Reaching late even one minute after 08.00 AM or 09.00 AM the bus will not be there and you will be considered as a NO SHOW PARTICIPANT and hence you will loose your participation amount of Rs.200/- per person.

  4. Participants please carry necessary SUN TAN creams and SUN GLASSES as per your preference.

  5. At the base of the Hiking Hill, you have to seriously follow the instructions of the 2 PROFESSIONAL HIKING EXPERTS provided by Goa Adventures for your safety and security.

  6. Please wear WALKING SPORTS SHOES that you are comfortable with. Please don’t use new shoes to avoid getting shoe bites.

  7. Recommended to carry ELECTROLYTES POWDER packet to consume with water to replenish lost body salts.

  8. You are responsible to take care of your Binoculars, Cameras or any other valuables. Avoid wearing Gold or other Expensive jewellery. LOSS, THEFT OR MISPLACING any personal effects, the organizers cannot be held responsible for the same.

  9. Strictly NO SMOKING

  10. Strictly NO CONSUMING ANY TYPE OF ALCOHOL OR BEERS OR WINES.

  11. Strictly NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC. Please enjoy the natural sounds of nature.

  12. We advise you to wear COTTON CLOTHING so that you cool your body and keep yourself dry easily.

  13. Please try to wear EARTH COLORS when in the wilderness. Colors such as Green, Brown, Rust, Light Blue, and Grey etc would be suitable. AVOID BRIGHT COLOR CLOTHING such as Red, Yellow etc

  14. Participants as individuals or as couples are not allowed to BREAK OFF from the group for their private reasons. We all go as ONE GROUP, enjoy together and come back as ONE GROUP.

  15. Please carry your own wrappers, plastic and other WASTE BACK TO THE CITY garbage dumps from the natural spot.

  16. Any person having any ENTERTAINMENT SKILLS please contact Mr. Deepak.

  17. Please carry your personal MEDICATIONS, to be taken regularly.

  18. Please buy your FLOWERS FOR VALENTINE; plucking of flowers at Botanical Garden is discouraged.

  19. This is a No Profit Initiative of Goa Adventures. Your charges have been used in providing a dedicated bus service, 2 professional hiking experts to lead the hike and if possible a few snacks & prizes.
