Benaulim Beach is still undiscovered by domestic tourist; it’s quietly crowded by local visitors. Benaulim beach gives you the joy and realization of being in Goa. The most popular places to eat are the shack cafes in the beachfront area, the smoothly shelving sand twinkle away from the scene. It is safe for swimming, being normally jellyfish-free. The Beach Bonanza fair held on every Sundays from mid-April onwards one should not miss it. Bullfights can be seen at Benaulim, it’s usually held in an old rice ground with no fences or barricades just outside a village, to the beat of taped Konkani music.
