Agonda Beach is located 36km away from Margao. It is quietly deserted due to its distances from the main cities. The beach is an isolated and beautiful cove of white sand that is fringed with palms and casuarinas. It has a large hill to its south. There are few facilities available, no souvenir stalls, and few restaurants. It has just the trees, beach and big beautiful ocean. To catch real adventure, hire a tent and camp for the night, listening to the crashing of the sea waves. This beach gives ideal isolation which one can drown in.
